Notre Dame Academy Offers Academic Scholarships to Incoming Freshmen

Notre Dame Academy offered Academic Scholarships totaling $34,500 to 15 young women last night at NDA’s High School Placement Test Results meeting. The students, representing nine local grade schools, earned the scholarships based on their performance on the High School Placement Test (HSPT) in December 2012.

Due to the generosity of the Sisters of Notre Dame and other benefactors, Notre Dame Academy awards several academic scholarships to the top performers of the HSPT each year. The scholarships range from $2500-$500 and Academic Excellence Scholarships awarded to students in the 99, 98, and 97 percentile are renewable scholarships.

Notre Dame Academy is committed to its mission of educating women to make a difference in the world and offers a comprehensive tuition assistance program that is available to prospective and current NDA families. The total amount of financial assistance given by Notre Dame Academy in the 2012-2013 school year was $709,000.

Notre Dame Academy congratulates the following incoming freshmen who were offered an academic scholarship for the 2013-2014 school year: Michelle Bricking, Emma Duerstock, Ivy Gillon, Oliva Hollman, Abby Kelly, Abby Lehman, Julia Mathew, Josephine Meyer-Hogan, Paige Monfort, Claire Morgan, Lauren Reinersman, Brooke Schulte, Kelsey Schwarber, Meg Whelan, Sarah Wehrman.
