Come see the Spring Showcase on Thursday, May 16 (or say tonight/tomorrow) in the theatre at 6pm. This showcase features the pandatones, dance pandas, and theatre classes. Come support your fine arts pandas!

LIFE club’s final meeting of the year is today, Wednesday, May 8 after school in room 254. At this meeting we will be choosing club officers for next year, as well as hearing from a speaker on the issue of Capital Punishment. Mrs. Sharon Harris, an NDA alum, will share about her volunteer work with Ignite Peace, an organization dedicated to ending the death penalty in Ohio, and her experiences as a pen pal to a prisoner on death row. We will have some snacks and goodies to share as well.

Do you have an interest in Government or Politics? There is a great summer program that you can attend for FREE from June 3-7! At Kentucky Girls State, sponsored by the American Legion, you will learn about the democratic process (while living on the campus of Western Kentucky University – for FREE) by living in a mythical city, running for elected office, role-playing House and Senate positions, writing and passing legislation, while making new friends from all over the state! The Application deadline is MAY 15. Contact Mrs. Hildreth for more information!

The LAX team competed in the semifinals of the regional and lost a close one 8-11 to South Oldham. Great season to the Panda Lacrosse team.
The Softball team beat a very good HIghlands team last night 4-3 after taking the lead late in the game by a clutch hit by Ava McKinley. Next up for the Pandas is Brossart here tomorrow night. Come out and support the team.
