Happy Birthday Mrs. Emily Webster!!
As you heard yesterday, this week is National School Counselors’ Week. We want to highlight the tremendous impact that our school counselors have on our students both in helping them mentally, socially and emotionally, but also in helping them to achieve school success and plan for a career. Today, we celebrate Mrs. Chrissy Monohan.
Mrs. Monohan has been at NDA for 17 years. She worked in Mental Health Counseling before joining the NDA team. She loves being at NDA because of the students – they inspire her and keep her hopeful about our future world. Her greatest challenge in being a school counselor is the scheduling of courses. Her favorite high school experience was her Senior Class Theatre Play. Her greatest fear is clowns. When she needs to decompress, she enjoys prayer and deep breathing. When she needs to care for herself, she enjoys reading and napping. Her most loved aspect of herself is her smile… We thank Mrs. Monohan for making such an impact on our students and our community.
Mu Alpha Theta Meeting #3 is one week from today, February 10th! We will start promptly at 3:15 in Alumnae Hall and will end no later than 4:15, so please plan accordingly! Early dismissals will not be accepted.

Interested in hosting a German exchange student next year? NDA is once again going to host international students from our sister school in Germany for a portion of the 2025 fall semester and need three more host families.
