Todd Berling, Vice Chair of the NDA Board of Directors and Partner at Harvey, Marshall, and Berling, LLC, is an accomplished professional with a history of leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Eastern Kentucky University in 1986 and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Planning and Design from Yale University in 1989, specializing in lighting design, theater production, and audio engineering.
Todd founded Todd Berling Design, Inc., a theater and acoustical consulting firm, which he grew into a thriving enterprise before merging with Harvey, Marshall, and Berling, LLC. As a Partner and Managing Principal, he has overseen multimillion-dollar projects for educational institutions and nonprofit organizations, leveraging his design and project management expertise to achieve outstanding results.
Todd’s passion for education and the arts extends to his community involvement. He has served as a Commissioner for the Kenton County Planning Commission and as a Board Member for St. Agnes School, holding leadership roles such as Board Chairman. Additionally, he was the Board President and Member of the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra for six years, demonstrating his dedication to advancing regional cultural initiatives.
As a lifelong learner and educator, Todd has also served as a professor at Yale University, where he developed theater engineering and technical systems design courses.
Todd’s connection to Notre Dame Academy runs deep, as his grandmother and daughters are proud NDA graduates. His personal experiences have fueled his commitment to furthering NDA’s legacy of academic excellence and empowering young women to reach their full potential.
