On Friday Feb 7, 175 paNDAS and their dads came together for a memorable night of food, fun, and dancing at Receptions in Erlanger for the annual Father/Daughter dance!
The theme this year was sports and a tailgate menu of dogs, burgers, fries, mac n’ Cheese, etc… was served.
PaNDAs and their dads came dressed in their favorite sports attire from basketball, boxing, cheerleading, curling, football, golf, horse racing, martial arts, running, softball, soccer, table tennis, tennis, and more.
There were even a few referees in attendance. No flags were thrown and no technicals or red cards were given out, although, there certainly could have been based on some of the dad’s dance moves. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported either.
Attendees had the opportunity to play corn hole, putt putt, foosball, connect 4, take selfies at the photo booth prop station, or have professional photos taken!
Dads and daughters were tested on their knowledge by working as teams at their tables to answer sports related trivia, prizes went to the teams that answered the most questions correctly!
Couples were recognized for best costume and prizes were awarded for each grade level for the best dance off couple!
Based on the continuous smiles and laughter throughout the night, a great time was had by all.
Thank you to everyone that served on the dance committee and contributed in some way. Additional volunteers with new ideas are always appreciated as we continue to build on the successes of past dances. Many hands make light work!
Special thanks to Crystal Pohlman for volunteering to serve as the event chair and for her tireless efforts in set-up, clean up, and planning a fun-filled and memorable event!
