NDA’s January Student of the Month is a true witness to the Gospel, and according to her teachers, Caroline Miller always goes the extra distance to succeed in her classes. A member of the Class of 2014, Caroline says her “proudest moments come from helping others achieve their goals and understand something in the classroom they are struggling with.”
Caroline truly is a young woman making a difference in her school and our world. She participates in several NDA-sponsored groups including Teen Leadership Club, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society. This past fall, she served as student theater director for the school comedy, and this spring like all the others, Caroline will play the midfielder position on NDA’s lacrosse team.
When she is not in the classroom, in the theater, or on the field, she volunteers at Notre Dame’s Urban Education Center where for 3 hours each week she exercises her ability to teach young children and to help them reach their goals. We are very proud of Caroline who strives to impact the community in a positive way. It is Caroline’s level of responsibility, determination, sincerity, and leadership that have earned her recognition as NDA’s January Student of the Month.
