The Notre Dame Academy volleyball team fell short of advancing to the State Semi-final game with a hard fought loss to Louisville Mercy at Valley High School in Louisville on Saturday. The Pandas lost their first two sets in the Quarterfinal round 26-24 and 25-22 before squaring up the match and winning the third and fourth sets 24-16 and 25-23. The fifth set was a battle of heart with both teams exchanging points and tying the set 13-13 before the Jaguars secured the final two points. The Pandas season ended with a terrific 34-8 record.
