Announcements for Thursday, February 13, 2025

The Rosary will be prayed in the chapel today during PPT – all are welcome to join us.

We hope everyone is having a good Hope Week. This morning we collected money for the Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home Halo League, who host activities for kids in their residential program, such as birthdays, back to school events, and even Silverlake days. Today for Hope week we will be having a hope walk out on the track, so if you don’t have a teacher meeting, come down to join us. Taking care of your physical health is important for your mental health. Tomorrow is our last day of Hope Week. During Lunch, we will have Valentines available for you to color and decorate to give to your friends!

Today we also want to honor the life of the Ryle student who took her own life this week. Please keep her, her family, and the Ryle community in your thoughts and prayers. Take some time to sign the card during lunch and we will take it to Ryle. If you’re struggling, please reach out to a member of Hope Squad or the counselors or call/text 988. Don’t forget about your emergency numbers. You are not alone and you have support.

A reminder to the seniors helping with the Sophomore Retreat – we will meet in room 101 during PPT today.

There will be an informational meeting right after school today in room 254 for anyone interested in going to the National Catholic Youth Conference in November.  If you are interested in attending the conference but cannot make the meeting today – please email Mrs. Price so that she can share the information with you.

We will celebrate mass tomorrow at 7:20 am in the chapel.  We will celebrate St. Valentine’s Day with doughnuts after mass for those who attend.  All are welcome.
