Congratulations to two of our NDA seniors, Hannah Regan and Lillian Trunnell, who have earned the distinction of National Merit Semifinalists. Hannah and Lillian are among 16,000 students named today in the National Merit Scholarship Program’s 58th competition recognizing each state’s top students. As semifinalists, representing less than 1 percent of the nation’s high school seniors, they have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 8,300 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered to finalists next spring.
