The Aqua Pandas captured their 15th consecutive Regional Swimming and Diving Championship Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Silverlake. The Pandas set the tone by winning all event relays and cruised to a first place finish. NDA qualified 15 participants to the state meet scheduled February 22 and 23 at the University of Louisville. Big splashes came from individual regional champions Olivia Hagen (200 freestyle), Lily Morgan (100 backstroke), Julia Johnson (100 butterfly), Mackenzie Margroum (50 & 100 freestyle). Mackenzie also broke two regional records in the 50 and 100 freestyle while being recognized as the Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet! The state prelims are held Friday, February 22, and the state finals are Saturday, February 23, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the University of Louisville. Congratulations to the Aqua Pandas!
