Szofia Komaromy-Hiller, Monica McFadden, and Cassidy Ryan were among the 21 students invited to present their original research at the Kentucky Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. The event was held at the University of Louisville March 15 and 16.
Cassidy Ryan placed second with her project on biological effects of sugar substitutes on aquatic organisms. Cassidy will next present her work at the National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium May 1 to 4. Besides the expenses-paid trip, Cassidy was offered a trustee’s scholarship to the University of Louisville and a $1500 scholarship to the college of her choice.
Congratulations Cassidy!
