NDA Student Writers Top Creative Writing Competition

The results are in and NDA’s student writers prevailed in Northern Kentucky University’s 2013 Area High School Creative Writing Contest. NDA took 9 of 18 awards. The following students are winners:

Poetry:

2nd Prize: Elizabeth Kauza

Northern Kentucky University’s annual Area High School Creative Writing Contest seeks to foster a greater interest in literary arts and to recognize area student achievements. All of this year’s winners will be honored on Thursday, May 16, at N.K.U. in a special awards celebration for students, parents, teachers, families, and friends. Author Nicci Mechler will be the featured guest speaker at the ceremony where winners will receive their cash awards and certificates of achievement.
