NDA Senior Awarded 4th For Our Soldiers Scholarship

Notre Dame Academy Senior Jane Rudnick was the honored recipient of the 2014 “4th For Our Soldiers” scholarship. Jane was presented the scholarship by Domata Peko, defensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals during half time at the 9th Regional championship boys basketball tournament this past Saturday, March 8. The Bank of KY center, 4th For Our Soldiers and Rozzi’s Fireworks planned a spectacular halftime presentation for Jane and her family that included a big screen video, indoor fireworks, roses along with a certificate for the scholarship and an amazing story and introduction of Jane by famous Cincinnati Reds announcer Joe Zerhusen. The evening was made extra special by the nationally known CCH cheering section chanting “We Love Jane” after her announcement. “4th For Our Soldiers” is a non-profit organization that was started 9 years ago to support our military and their families. The organization is run by the Dunn family who currently have a sophomore (Adeline) at NDA and a 2012 CCH graduate.
