NDA’s Madelyn Vinson won first place in the George S. and Stella M. Knight Essay Contest sponsored by the Sons of the American Revolution. Madeylyn will represent the Simon Kenton Chapter in the state competition phase. NDA’s Sandra Steiber came in second place. Both students received a Sons of the American Revolution certificate and medallion as well as a cash prize.
