NDA Science Research Students Succeed at KY-SEF

Students from throughout the commonwealth participated in the Kentucky Science and Engineering Fair (KY-SEF) at Eastern Kentucky University on March 29, 2014. NDA’s Ellen Kendall placed first in Environmental Science. Four NDA students placed second in their categories:

Josie Hammon in Earth and Planetary Science
Paige Montfort in Microbiology
Emily Walter in Plant Sciences
Hannah Ziegelmeyer in Energy and Transportation

NDA senior Emily Bautista won one of the U.S. Army award for engineering, and Ellen Kendall won the Stockholm Junior Water Prize award.
