NDA senior Ellen Kathman was recently accepted into the Carl H. Lindner Honors PLUS Program at the University of Cincinnati. After an application and interview process involving thousands of applicants, Ellen was among the 25 students chosen to be part of this highly regarded and selective business program this year.
“We are very proud of Ellen and her selection as a Lindner Honors PLUS scholar,” said Mr. Jack VonHandorf, Principal of Notre Dame Academy. “She is to be commended for her commitment to academic excellence and diligence in the classroom. We congratulate her as we celebrate this honor.”
The Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS program is a challenging honors program integrated within the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. The program is designed for highly motivated individuals with superior academic ability and demonstrated leadership skills. The Lindner Honors-PLUS program incorporates a demanding business honors curriculum, participation in a co-operative education program, an intensive international study-abroad trip and extensive business leadership exposure and training. As a Lindner Honors-PLUS scholar, Ellen will receive a scholarship that covers full tuition and fees.
