Members of Rho Kappa, the social studies honor society, held a voter registration drive during Notre Dame Academy’s lunch mods recently in an effort to promote responsible citizenship. In preparation for the drive, several students visited the clerks offices in Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties to gather information and materials on the registration process. Students were on hand during the lunch mods to answer questions and help students fill out the voter registration cards. More than 2 dozen seniors registered to vote during the drive!
Other students researched the voting requirements and the procedures for filing absentee votes for all of the states in which our seniors will be attending college. This information will be collated and then given to each senior so that no matter where they are living for the next four years, they can continue the tradition of Notre Dame Academy by making a difference with their vote!
