An educational and a personal growth opportunity: serving others in Santo Domingo
Two summers ago, NDA offered a mission trip to work with orphans and help with renovation of the orphanage in Santo Domingo. The students were moved by the simplicity of the children, improved their Spanish skills, and learned about another part of the world. Eight to fourteen students can go next summer. This is truly an invaluable experience for high school students who plan to study a semester abroad in college. The student will earn service hours and the linguistic and cultural advantages are numerous. Deadline is November 8.
