Every Wednesday in Advanced Honors Theatre, students do what’s called ‘Tricks of the Trade,’ where they have the opportunity to teach class. Maggie Ellis recently taught her classmates ASL (American Sign Language), to the song ‘Mama, Who Bore Me,’ from the musical Spring Awakening. This was from a production done by Deaf West Theatre many years ago. What a great example of NDA students learning new skills that can work both in theatre and life!
