Riley Maddox, a graduating senior in the class of 2023, was awarded a position in the University of Louisville’s McConnell Scholars Program after a rigorous application and interview process. This prestigious honor is offered to only 10 students each year who have demonstrated a record of leadership, dedication to scholarship and commitment to service and who plan to study the foundations of leadership and political and social thought in America. This program opens up opportunities for networking with local, state, and national leaders, study abroad programs and experiential learning internships and co-ops.
