Dear NDA Alumnae,
I want to share some important news regarding our Leadership Team at Notre Dame Academy. After nine years of dedicated service, Mr. Jack VonHandorf has made the decision to step down as Principal of NDA at the end of this school year. His contributions to our community have been invaluable and we want to offer him our sincere appreciation for his dedication to NDA. We wish him every success in his next chapter and extend our gratitude for his leadership and the positive impact he has had on our school.
Mr. VonHandorf has been a true servant leader at NDA for nearly a decade and his dedication to advancing our mission of educating young women to make a difference in the world is inspiring. Under his leadership, NDA has achieved some very significant milestones and we are grateful for his tireless efforts. As we begin the search for the 10th principal of NDA, we are committed to a smooth transition, maintaining the high standards of excellence that define our school.
The ideal candidate will continue to uphold the values of NDA, advance our mission and guide our students to success. Our Board of Directors will form a selection committee tasked with reviewing applications and conducting interviews with the goal to have a new principal in place by July 1, 2024.
I have full confidence in the strength of our NDA community and our ability to grow and thrive through this transition. Like the Sisters of Notre Dame, we will continue to build on the success of those who have come before us and in these next few months and years, we will build on the strong foundation laid by Mr. VonHandorf over the past nine years with continued success and the highest degree of excellence that is the tradition of Notre Dame Academy.
Proclaiming God’s goodness and provident care,
Mrs. Trish Miller
President
