Notre Dame Academy is proud to share that Sr. Marla Monahan, SND, recently authored a beautiful article for the Messenger titled “Living Legacy of Love.” In her piece, Sr. Marla reflects on the enduring impact of Catholic education at NDA, sharing insights from her experience attending the recent Golden Girls Brunch, which honors alumnae who graduated 50 or more years ago.
The article captures the profound sense of sisterhood, community, and faith that defines the Notre Dame Academy experience. Sr. Marla shares thoughtful reflections from current students who expressed how they see God in their daily lives at NDA and how the school has deepened their relationships with Christ. The students spoke about the unique bond they share with one another and the meaningful ways they encounter God’s love through friendships, faculty, and service.
Sr. Marla’s heartfelt writing not only celebrates the legacy of NDA but also inspires us to continue living out the Gospel in all that we do. We are grateful for her words and the way they continue to strengthen our community.
